Precision Laser Marking for High-Quality Metal Surfaces

This image showcases a high-precision laser marking process on a metal surface, producing clean, sharp, and permanent text. The bright spark highlights the accuracy and power of the laser, ideal for industries needing durable and professional-looking marks on metal components. Perfect for branding, serial numbers, or product details, this technology ensures consistent results with minimal wear and tear.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A CO₂ laser coding machine is a type of laser system that uses carbon dioxide gas as its main active medium. This gas is contained within a sealed glass or metal tube, where specially placed electrode plates help generate electrical energy. When the machine is powered on, the electrical energy passes through the gas, exciting it and creating plasma. This process energizes the CO₂ molecules, pushing them into a higher energy state.

Once enough molecules are excited, they begin to emit light. To shape this light into a focused and powerful laser beam, the machine uses two mirrors positioned at opposite ends of the tube. One mirror is fully reflective, while the other allows some of the light to pass through. The light bounces between these mirrors multiple times, becoming more concentrated with each pass.

Eventually, the strengthened light exits through the partially reflective mirror as a precise, high-speed laser beam. This beam can be used to mark, engrave, or code a wide range of materials with great accuracy and speed. CO₂ lasers are known for their reliability, low maintenance, and ability to deliver consistent, permanent results across many applications in industrial and commercial settings.

An air-cooled laser source is very easy to take care of and rarely needs maintenance. This helps keep the system running smoothly with very little downtime.

The laser source lasts a long time and can work for around 40,000 hours on average before any problems are likely to happen.

It has a standard marking area of 100x100 mm, with high accuracy and sharp edges, allowing you to work faster and get more done.

The standard IP54 protection keeps the machine safe from dust and moisture, so it can run smoothly and reliably even in tough conditions.

You can choose from different working distances, and the printhead can be installed in any direction from 0 to 360 degrees. This makes it easier and more flexible to fit into different types of production lines.

Product Advantages

Different wavelength choices

Our CO2 laser range provides various wavelength options, making it easy to choose the perfect fit for your specific application.

10.6 microns: great for marking common packaging materials like paper, cardboard, plastic, labels, wood, and glass.

10.2 microns: best for marking laminated cartons, which are often used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical packaging.

9.3 microns: especially good for marking PET plastic, commonly used in drink bottles and similar products.

Our CO2 laser range provides various wavelength options, making it easy to choose the perfect fit for your specific application.

The interaction between the laser and the material causes a color shift due to a chemical transformation.

Creating a design on the product’s surface, such as raising patterns on PET through foaming or carving into glass.

Stripping away the top layer of coating to reveal the different base color underneath.

Burning or heat-treating wood or cardboard in a controlled way to darken or mark the surface.

Heating various plastics to create raised or indented surface textures.

Product Applications

CO₂ lasers are gas-based systems that use carbon dioxide as the active medium, making them ideal for delivering clear, consistent, and high-quality markings on a wide range of materials such as cardboard, glass, coated metals, paper labels, PET, acrylic, and other plastics. Renowned for their adaptability and accuracy., these lasers produce permanent, high-contrast marks without any physical contact, preserving the integrity of even delicate materials.

They operate at high speeds, which boosts productivity in demanding industrial environments, and their low maintenance requirements ensure long-term reliability. CO₂ lasers are also an environmentally friendly solution, using no inks or solvents and generating minimal waste. With customizable wavelengths and flexible installation options, they can be easily adapted to suit specific materials and production line configurations, making them a valuable tool for manufacturers seeking efficient, cost-effective, and eco-conscious marking solutions.
